State & Territory Salary Calculators
Short answer
Australia has no state income tax, so take-home pay for a given salary is the same in every state: nil to $18,200, 15% to $45,000, then 30% to $135,000, plus the 2% Medicare levy. What varies is employer payroll tax, from $900,000 in Victoria to $2,000,000 in the ACT.
Income tax is federal, so take-home pay is the same across states. These pages cover take-home pay plus employer payroll tax by state.
