What Must Be On A Payslip In Australia?
Short answer
A compliant Australian payslip must show the employer's name and ABN, the employee's name, the pay period and payment date, gross and net pay, the hourly rate and hours if paid hourly, itemised allowances and deductions, and super including the fund and the 12% amount. It is due within one working day of payment.
Required details
Employer name and ABN, employee name, pay period, date of payment, gross and net amounts, rate and hours (if hourly), loadings and allowances itemised, each deduction with the fund or account, and the super amount and fund. Employers must issue a payslip within one working day of paying you.
Record-keeping
